WELCOME TO YOUR NEXT ESCAPE
A little more about your stay
South Dean Camping is a coastal campsite on the edge of Exmoor in North Devon, with access to the South West Coast Path. The operator advertises non-electric tent and campervan pitches, with a setting suited to walkers and campers looking for sea views.
Seasonal update, checked 13 September 2026: the operator’s website says the campsite is closed for the season and plans to reopen on 27 May 2027. Confirm that date and future availability directly before making travel plans.
Dogs are welcome on leads, and the site advertises designated firepit arrangements. Its coastal and partly unlit setting calls for suitable camping equipment and a torch. Check vehicle suitability and the facilities available for your dates.
Visit the official campsite website for current details and availability.
