Getting in touch
For website, directory, membership/certification or payment concerns about Go Explore, email [email protected] or call 0800 001 6020. For a privacy complaint or request, email [email protected]; our general contact route also accepts these. You can write to GOEXPLORECAMPING LTD, Nantceulan, Capel Bangor, Aberystwyth, Sir Ceredigion, United Kingdom, SY23 3NL.
Tell us what happened, when, the page or reference if relevant, and the outcome you would like. You do not have to use a form or particular terminology. Please do not include passwords, card security codes or unnecessary identity documents. We will request proportionate evidence only if needed.
What happens next
We record the complaint, assign an appropriate person and investigate fairly. Our service targets are acknowledgement within five working days and an initial substantive reply within 20 working days. If we need longer, we explain why and provide an update and expected next step. We explain the outcome, reasons and any remedy, and offer an internal review by another appropriate person where practicable. These targets do not extend a legal deadline.
A privacy complaint must be acknowledged within 30 days and investigated and answered without undue delay. A simultaneous rights request, such as a request for a copy of your information, normally has its own one-month deadline, subject to limited lawful qualifications. Recognising a complaint does not pause that deadline.
For an accommodation or on-site complaint, contact the campsite promptly so it can try to resolve it. We investigate concerns about our own service and help identify the relevant operator. A complaint does not remove your court, consumer or other legal rights.
Escalation
For data-protection concerns you can contact the Information Commissioner's Office or call 0303 123 1113. You may approach the ICO without first completing our process.
If a consumer dispute cannot be resolved, we will supply any legally required information about an appropriate alternative dispute-resolution provider and whether we are willing or obliged to participate. We do not claim membership of an ADR scheme unless confirmed for the relevant service. Consumer advice may also be available from Citizens Advice.
