Camping Le Lac des Varennes is at Marçon in the Sarthe, between the Loir river and a large lake. Pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes are available with or without electric hook-up. Rental choices include mobile homes, chalets, furnished tents and compact barrel accommodation for short cycling stops.
The campsite has bread ordering, a small grocery shop, bicycle hire, Wi-Fi, play equipment and pétanque areas. Bar service and organised entertainment concentrate on the summer season.
