La Vaugelette is at Montclar-sur-Gervanne in the Drôme, between the Drôme valley and the Vercors regional natural park. The Gervanne river crosses its wooded grounds. Pitches accommodate tents, caravans and small campervans, while rentals include wooden cabins, lodge tents, a mobile-home cottage and furnished caravans.
The campsite began as a motorcycling destination and now welcomes other travellers too. There is a swimming pool and a bar-restaurant. Pitches are available with or without electricity, and rental bathroom arrangements vary.
