Podere Campofossato is a working farm in the countryside north of Pistoia, in Tuscany's Ombrone valley. The regional tourism office lists the property as an agriturismo and agricamper, while the farm's own information describes rooms and apartments alongside its olive-growing and other agricultural activities. Pistoia provides the nearest city base for visits farther afield towards Florence and Lucca.
Travellers arriving with a camper or tent should contact the farm directly to establish whether pitches are available for their dates and which washing and service facilities can be used. The public camping profile currently does not take bookings through Pitchup. Nearby riding, restaurants and swimming facilities are separate from the farm's accommodation.
