Eden Valley Holidays runs the campsite at Newby End Farm, in the village of Newby near Penrith. The location sits between the Lake District and Pennines, with a separate holiday cottage also available on the farm.
The campsite has seven hardstanding and eight grass pitches, most with access to electricity. Showers, toilets, chemical-waste disposal and wireless internet are provided. It welcomes couples and families, while bookings from groups or organisations are not accepted.
Dogs must remain on leads, and campfires and disposable barbecues are prohibited. Check seasonal dates before booking and follow the farm’s own directions: the operator warns that the postcode alone can send satnav users astray.
