Hankin Farm Campsite is on New Road between Alderwasley and Whatstandwell, near Belper in Derbyshire. It provides a countryside base for walks around the Midshires Way and Cromford Canal, with Crich and Matlock Bath among the nearby places to explore.
Non-electric grass pitches cater for tents and touring vehicles. Separate male and female toilets and showers, plus a washing-up area, are advertised. Dogs are welcome, with leads and supervision required. Check vehicle and pitch-size limits when booking: the current published pitch does not accept twin-axle vehicles.
There is no reception building, so check in at the farmhouse. Bring a torch for the unlit parts of the site. Confirm your arrival time and current fire restrictions; the published terms require permitted barbecues and firepits to be raised and attended.
