WELCOME TO YOUR NEXT ESCAPE
A little more about your stay
Hay Hideout Huts offers a shepherd’s hut for two below Hay Bluff, overlooking the Wye Valley near Hay-on-Wye. It stands in its own field within farmland in the Black Mountains, with a setting designed around privacy and walking in the surrounding countryside.
Inside are a king-size bed, a gas hob, sink and fridge, a wood-burning stove and an en-suite shower and flushing toilet. Solar panels supply the lighting and USB charging, so available power depends on the weather.
The spring-water supply is intended for washing and showering; drinking water is provided separately. Check access and what to bring before travelling to this off-grid stay.
Information checked against the operator’s website on 2 October 2026.
