Natural Camping Macugnaga is in the Anzasca Valley below the eastern face of Monte Rosa. The year-round campsite welcomes tents, caravans and motorhomes, with the river Anza beside the grounds and views towards the surrounding mountains. Macugnaga's centre is around a kilometre away and can be reached on foot.
Facilities include hot showers, laundry, a Wi-Fi zone and a children's play area. The Monte Moro cable car and Belvedere ski area provide access to different mountain outings, with a local shuttle serving the ski facilities. Lake delle Fate and the Guia gold mine are also nearby. Pets are accepted for an additional charge, and winter stays should be arranged with reception.
