Villatent at Camping River offers Wood safari tents at Méolans-Revel in the Ubaye valley. The furnished tents sleep up to five and include two sleeping rooms, a kitchen and a terrace looking towards the mountains. Bathroom facilities are shared in a nearby sanitary block, with the pool and other facilities within walking distance.
The campsite is car-free after loading and unloading, so vehicles stay in the entrance parking area. Guests have access to a small pool and a separate swimming and play pond; swimming in the Ubaye river itself is not allowed. The valley is suited to walking, cycling and organised rafting trips, and evenings can be cool even after warm days.
